Its getting down to the wire as the quarterfinal match-ups are officially done!

Former IWGP Tag Team champion SANADA continues to be the dark horse of the tournament as the Los Ingobernables de Japon member defeated wrestling veteran Colt Cabana.

In the main event, former New Japan Cup winners Zack Sabre Jr. (2018) and Hiroshi Tanahashi (2005, 2008) faced off in the final round match-up. Sabre Jr. tried to use his technical prowess to out maneuver the former IWGP Heavyweight champion, but Tanahashi was able to get the victory in the end.


Here’s the official Semi-finals match-ups that will take place on March 23rd:

Kazuchika Okada vs. Tomohiro Ishii

SANADA vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
