Since the company's inception back in 2002, the independent promotion Ring of Honor has helped groom and showcase some of the most decorated wrestlers in the world. The likes of CM Punk, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Adam Cole, Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson back then), Kyle O'Reily, Bobby Fish, and Austin Aries have all come from Ring of Honor.

Now, the promotion looks back at the most decorated champions they've had since it began in 2002.

The top 5 list goes in the order of:
5. Bryan Danielson
4. Adam Cole
3. Samoa Joe
2. Nigel McGuinness
1. Jay Lethal

Danielson, known as "The American Dragon"  holds the title of the third longest ROH World title reign at 462 days from September 17, 2005- December 23, 2006. Former bullet club member Adam Cole holds the distinction of being the only man to hold the ROH title three times. Samoa Joe (before he joined then named TNA) was champion for 645 days from March 22, 2003 - December 26, 2004).

Current commentator Nigel McGuninness holds the record for second longest reigning ROH World Champion at 545 days and the longest reigning ROH Pure champion at 350 days (the title was unified in 2006). McGuinness had a brief run in TNA, but shortly retired due to an illness. Despite being cured, McGuinness revealed later than he stayed retired unless he does something that he hadn't done before in the wrestling business.

Jay Lethal hails in at number as the longest reigning champion in company history as ROH World TV champion (567) and 798 days combined with the ROH World title. He holds the reigns of fourth longest World champion in Ring of Honor history.
