Over the weekend, Impact Wrestling Knockouts champion Tess Blanchard and Mercedes Martinez made history; Blanchard has had a strong 2018 thus far, showcasing her tremendous talent throughout Impact Wrestling and the indie scene. At the Rise 10 event, her and the Mae Young Classic competitor competed in a 75-minute Iron Man Match, which set the record for the longest women’s match in professional wrestling in America.
Mercedes held the record for a previous match, a 73 minute 2011 match with Alisha Edwards.
