During last night’s Revolution Pro Wrestling/New Japan Pro Wrestling joint show, Global Wars, Will Ospreay suffered a injury in his match against Chris Ridgeway after landing on his neck due to a missed Pele Kick.

The finish was reportedly improvised quickly, with Ridgeway picking up the victory over the former IWGP Jr Heavyweight champion. Since then, speculation has indicated it could be a potential intercostal/rib injury.

Ospreay was immediately assisted to the back by the referee. Paramedics then rushed to evaluate him before taking him to hospital.

Ospreay went on Twitter and updated his fans about his condition.

At the moment, there’s no telling how serious the injury is. The England native has had to deal with several injuries this past year, most notably back at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Sakura Genesis where Ospreay attempted a Spanish fly off the apron to the floor, but his head landed hard onto the edge of the apron.

The popular high flyer has toned down his style since then.
