Unfortunately, Hiroshi Tanahashi doesn’t get to enjoy a long title reign with the RPW British Heavyweight championship.

The former multi-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion won the belt at New Japan’s Royal Quest event back on August 31st, besting his long-time rival Zack Sabre Jr. by connecting with his signature High Fly Flow maneuver.

However, this past weekend, ZSJ was able to recapture the championship with a surprise roll-up after a lengthy bout between the two foes. This is the fourth time that the England native has won the RPW British Heavyweight championship, as his first title reign stems all the way back to January 2016, where he defeated AJ. Styles.
