EVIL and SANADA won the IWGP Tag Team Championship against The Young Bucks and Tama Tonga / Tanga Loa in a chaotic and fun triple threat tag team match. The finish saw SANADA pin Matt after hitting the moonsault. This is the second IWGP Tag Team title reign for EVIL and SANADA.

However, that wasn’t the only tag titles that changed hands at Wrestle Kingdom 13.

BUSHI and Shingo Takagi won the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championship against Roppongi 3k and El Desperado / Yoshinobu Kanemaru.  Takagi scored the pinfall on Sho after hitting the Last of the Dragon.

El Desperado and Kanemaru had held the titles for the first time since March 2018, capturing the gold in a 3-way involving Roppongi 3K and Los Ingobernables de Japon. This is BUSHI and Shingo Takagi's first time as IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team champions.
