PAC has finally dropped the Dragon Gate Open The Dream Gate title to Ben-K at the Kobe Pro-Wrestling Festival on July 21st.

The former WWE superstar won the belt back in December 2018, defeating Masato Yoshino at the company’s Fantastic Gate show at the Korakuen Hall. PAC made his re-debut for Dragon Gate back in October after being released from the WWE during the summer.

This is an interesting development due to PAC’s connection with All Elite Wrestling. Originally, the Dragon Gate star was set to face Adam “Hangman” Page at Double or Nothing on May 25th; however, PAC was taken off the tournament due to creative differences on Dragon Gate not wanting their top champion to lose.

The Young Bucks and Cody have gone out of there way to make it clear that PAC does have a future with All Elite Wrestling (transcript courtesy of whatculture.com):

"He's coming, eventually," and that they're "pretty much at 99%," adding that "it's a priority for us and I think we're gonna make this thing work."

There’s no word yet on PAC's future with the promotion; however, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he made his debut for AEW at All Out.
