It’s been previously reported that Sami Callihan was officially gone from Major League Wrestling; however, the ‘The Draw’ made sure to leave a mark that Jim Cornette will never forget:

Cornette has come under fire for his comments over Sonny Kiss during his review of the Casino Battle Royale at Double or Nothing. The wrestling personality stated that Kiss appeared as if he just got off his day job at the Tropicana and referred to Sonny as a transvestite.

Callihan was one of the wrestlers who weren’t thrilled over Cornette’s comments and before his loser leaves MLW match against Mance Warner, he spit in the face of Jim Cornette over the controversial figure’s disparaging remarks. ‘The Draw’ confirms his reasoning on the 'Keepin It 100 With Konnan' podcast (transcript courtesy of fightful.com):

“One hundred percent, I don't like what he said online. He said [during] his podcast when he’s reviewing AEW Double Or Nothing because you know, obviously he has to say something negative about everything. [He] wanted to put over the fact that, ‘Oh, they didn’t even explain what this guy was’.

“Like first of all, in 2019, we don’t have to explain what someone of homosexuality or anything is because it’s 2019 and everything’s accepted of [those] terms and then he just wanted to call him a transvestite when not even knowing what he was and saying he looks like he just got off from working a day shift at the f*cking Tropicana as a drag queen. I’m like, that’s just ignorant. That’s speaking ignorant.”
