Bea Priestly made a surprise appearance during day 17 of the G1 Climax, helping boyfriend Will Ospreay pick up a victory over former IWGP Champion Kazuchika Okada and effectively eliminate him from the tournament.

Priestly, along with the returning The Great O-Kharn (aka Tomoyuki Oka), caused a distraction and allowed Ospreay to hit his Hidden Blade on Okada to pick up the pinfall victory.

This heel turn presumably means Ospreay had severed ties with CHAOS, and will move forward with Bea as his new valet. How O-Kharn fits into the equation remains to be seen.

Priestley was released from her AEW contract earlier this year after finding herself unable to travel to the US from her home in the UK thanks to the bastard pandemic. We're not sure if she's actually signed a contract with New Japan or is only scheduled to make a few appearances.

Ospreay is one of the favourites to win the G1, but he will need both Kota Ibushi and Jay White to lose their respective matches to win to Block A and progress to the finals.
