Could Meiko Satomura be making her way over to NXT UK?

According to Tokyo Sports, the wrestling veteran is expected to make her transition over to NXT UK as an on-air talent and coach. Satomura revealed during a press conference that she will limit her participation at future Sendai Girls events, though she never gives her reasoning why.

The report goes on to note that Satomura is expected to make the jump over to the WWE brand in early November and even though the 40-year-old doesn’t out right deny the news, she states that “There is no such story at the moment”.

There’s been no official news from WWE about Satomura joining the UK brand. The veteran competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic Tournament and made it into the semi-finals by beating Killer Kelly, Mercedes Martinez, and Lacey Lane; however, former NXT UK Women’s Champion Toni Storm eliminated her from the tournament.

Since then, Satomura has mainly competed in Japan, though she’s also fought in PROGRESS WRESTLING, Defy Wrestling, and Westside Xtreme Wrestling. Meiko is considered one of the best female talents in the world and shares a history with Asuka and Io Shirai.
