CONFIRMED: NXT Superstar Tegan Nox Is Legitimately Out Of Action With A Torn ACL

We were all hoping that this was a storyline injury, but WWE has now confirmed that popular NXT Superstar Tegan Nox has suffered a torn ACL, and will likely be out of action for quite some time.

Tegan Nox was attacked by Candice LeRae before the No. 1 contender battle royal last past Wednesday on NXT, and while we assumed the update that followed was kayfabe, it seems she did indeed suffer a torn ACL.

NXT's weekly "Injury Report" usually lists minor injuries that would only keep a Superstar on the shelf for a week or two, but because a torn ACL can take between 6 and 9 months to recover from, there was speculation that The Welsh Wonder's mishap was legit.

Unfortunately, that's now been confirmed:

This is devastating news for Nox, who has been put out of action with the same injury twice before now. We should get an update on her condition and how long she'll be on the shelf for during tonight's episode, so be sure to tune in.

We wish Tegan a speedy recovery, and hope to see her doling out the shiniest of wizards again soon.
