On this week's episode of NXT, Drew McIntyre defeated Killian Dain to become the new #1 contender for the NXT Championship, and will go on to face Bobby Roode for the title at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn.
Both men went into the match undefeated, but McIntyre was always the strong favourite to come out on top, and many people are pegging him to be the one to finally pin Roode for the title.
The Scotsman recently outlined his plan to eventually go on to fullful Vince McMahon's "chosen one" prophecy and win the WWE Championship, and a win at Takeover would definitely be a step in the right direction.
