It Sounds Like NXT Superstar Tegan Nox May Be Out Of Action For A While

Tegan Nox was attacked by Candice LeRae before the No. 1 contender battle royal this past Wednesday on NXT, and while we assumed her injury was kayfabe, it sounds like she may be out of action for a while.

Candice LeRae took out Tegan Nox before she could make it to the No. 1 contender battle royal this past Wednesday on NXT, and while it was generally assumed that this was simply a way to progress their feud, it looks like it might have been done as a way to write the Welsh Wonder off TV for a while.

This week's NXT Injury Report mentions that Nox may have suffered a torn ACL. Now, while this report is (mostly) kayfabe, it usually lists minor injuries that would only keep a Superstar on the shelf for a week or two. A torn ACL can take between 6 and 9 months to recover from, so whether Tegan is legitimately injured or not, it sounds like she may be out of action for quite a while.

We're hoping that this is all still a work and NXT simply wants LeRae's attack to come off as being more vicious than it looked, but we'll just have to wait and see if an official announcement is made.

If Nox is really hurt, we wish her a speedy recovery.
