Former multi-time TNA, NJPW and ROH tag-team champion Alex Shelley recently guest coached at the WWE Performance Center, leading to speculation that he may wind up wrestling for NXT. Tonight, we found out that he'll team with his old Time Splitter partner Kushida to enter the Dusty Rhodes Tag-Team Classic Tournament.

Shelley is probably best known for his time in TNA (now Impact Wrestling) as one half of the Motor City Machine Guns with Chris Sabin, but he then went on to New Japan to team with Kushida as the mega-popular Back to the Future-inspired duo, The Time Splitters.

Next week, they'll reunite to take on The Grizzled Young Veterans for the opportunity to advance to the second round of the Dusty Classic.
