NXT Beat ALL ELITE WRESTLING: DYNAMITE In Terms Of Ratings For The Second Week In A Row

We may be in the midst of a global pandemic, but things seem to be looking up for WWE. Both last Wednesday's NXT and All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite were taped in advance, and ratings for both shows are down, as a result.

However, there appears to be slightly more interest in WWE's product as NXT drew 692,000 viewers with a 0.17 rating in the 18 - 49 demo, whereas AEW: Dynamite did 683,000 viewers with a 0.25 rating in that same demo. In many ways, those demographics are far more important, of course, but it's still interesting that NXT is topping AEW after the latter previously beat it with ease on a weekly basis.

Going back to the week before, NXT also won the night in terms of viewers...with a lead of 1000. That's not exactly a lot, but both shows are pretty even at the moment (that week, NXT drew 693,000 viewers and AEW: Dynamite drew 692,000).

Is there now a greater amount of interest in NXT or less interest in AEW? That's the question both companies are more than likely asking right now, and this is definitely going to hurt Dynamite in the long run, especially as they were just starting to find their feet as a company.

We'll be sure to keep you updated when this Wednesday's numbers arrive.
