A former NXT Champion will make their return to the black and gold brand this Sunday at TakeOver, and a new promo teasing the mysterious Superstar's imminent arrival aired during last night's episode.

This time we saw a masked figure on a motorcycle crushing up a flier promoting the TakeOver main events. The voice was still computerized, but the feminine inflections were more prominent.

Speculation had previously pointed to Bo Dallas being unveiled as the former Champion, but now Ember Moon would seem to be the safer bet. The Superstar in the video is sporting a very similar outfit to one we've seen Moon wear in the past, and although it's difficult to tell for sure given the green lighting, a quick shot of the figure's bare wrist would seem to suggest that it's a person of color.

Whoever it is, expect them to get involved in either the NXT Championship or NXT Women's Title matches this Sunday at TakeOver. If nobody interferes in Io Shirai vs. Candice LeRae, it's probably Dallas!
