Ahead of last night's NXT TakeOver 31, Triple H took part in a Q&A on YouTube and hyped a number of matches for the show. Among them was KUSHIDA vs. The Velveteen Dream, and The Game acknowledged that Dream has had a "rough year," a reference to some serious allegations of sexual misconduct made against him.

As well as being accused of sending inappropriate photos and texts to young kids, while he was later involved in some sort of car accident. Triple H didn't directly mention those, of course, but it's pretty obvious what he was talking about.

Explaining that it feels like KUSHIDA is getting a rub from working with Velveteen Dream, he said that the NXT Superstar is "coming off a rough year from Velveteen Dream [and] reorganizing himself. Dream is one of those young guys that still hasn’t quite found his way yet of who he wants to be and I think sometimes that weighs on him."

"His immaturity in his life presents itself in his professional life and makes it difficult for him sometimes," he concluded.

WWE has yet to explain the decision to bring Dream back to NXT following those allegations, but they're clearly not taking them that seriously. That doesn't necessarily mean there's nothing to them, of course, but WWE clearly doesn't view them as being serious.
