Tomasso Ciampa is the new NXT Champion, after defeating Aleister Black at Full Sail Live.
We're still not sure how this came about, but after the news was leaked online by various fans in attendance at the show, WWE decided to officially announce the title change.
We weren't expecting these two to face-off until TakeOver: Brooklyn, and hardly anyone expected The Blackheart to win that match, so this is very surprising indeed. Still, Ciampa has become one of the best heels in the business over the past few months so this was probably only a matter of time anyway.
