During yesterday's WWE NXT television taping in Atlanta, it was officially announced that the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will return later this year. Samoa Joe and Finn Balor were the tournament's first winners back in 2015 while it was The Authors of Pain who emerged victorious last November.

It's unclear when exactly the tournament will kick off but it would make sense for the finals to take place at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans during WrestleMania 34 weekend in April. We also know who the first team entered into proceedings will be and that's The Forgotten Sons, Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake. There
are any number of teams who could ultimately emerge victorious here, though.

With that in mind, expect the brackets to be revealed in the near future. Who are you rooting for this year? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below.
