WWE Officials Reportedly Left "Stunned" By One Of Today's NXT Releases, But They've Vowed To RETURN!

Ezra Judge was among the NXT Superstars released today, but WWE officials were reportedly left "stunned" by him being among those to have received their marching orders from the company. Read on for details!

According to today's Wrestling Observer Radio, a lot of people were surprised by the news that Ezra Judge (Ezekwesiri "EJ" Nduka Jr.) was among those released from NXT today.

While there's no word on why he was among those who were wished all the best with their future endeavours, there are those within WWE who are said to be "stunned" by the departure. It's thought he had a tonne of potential, especially as he stands at 6;5", has an incredible physique, and is very athletic.

However, based on a Tweet shared by Judge, it seems he intends to one day return to WWE. 

It's entirely possible the company has set him free so he can get experience elsewhere, make a name for himself, and then one day come back to WWE as a fully formed package. That's something WWE has done a lot in the past, and it's paid off for them (just look at Drew McIntyre).
