Former X-Division Champion Matt Sydal Confirms He'll Be Taking Time Off Due To Injury

Former X-Division champion Matt Sydal has confirmed that he’ll be getting knee surgery and taking some time off from wrestling.

Sydal is currently a main stay in Impact Wrestling and had a hot start with the company in 2017. Not only did Sydal hold the X-Division title, but he also won the now defunct Impact Grand championship. Since dropping the X-Division and Impact Grand championship, Sydal has been a main player within both the tag team and X-Division.

It’s currently unknown when he suffered the injury (or if he’s simply repairing an old one), but Sydal states that he’ll be back in March or April of this year:
