Former Impact Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie isn’t going anywhere soon.
Several sources reportedly stated that the Impact star’s contract was up in December 2019; however, Valkyrie has clarified the rumors on her deal with the company, as the 36-year-old revealed that she signed a two-year contract in 2019:
Valkyrie responded to a report that her contract rolled over and would run through December 2020. As you can see above, she denied the article and made it clear that she wasn’t happy about these rumors regarding her contract.
This means that Valkyrie won’t be leaving Impact anytime soon. Many speculated that she was WWE bound since she was backstage during the Royal Rumble; however, the Canada native stated that she was just there to support her husband, John Morrison.
