According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, 28-year-old former Impact Wrestling star Mahabali Shera has re-signed with the company, though it's currently unknown what the exact deal is.

Shera had a decent run during his previous stint with the promotion, as he made his debut in The Revolution stable and had notable feuds with the likes of James Storm. He left the company back in 2017.

Shera was signed by the WWE in 2018; He competed under the name Amanpreet Singh in NXT, but was mainly used as enhancement talent for live shows. He never appeared on NXT television, working exclusively at live events.

The India native was surprisingly released just six months later, and it's still unknown why the Impact star was let go so soon from his contract. At the moment, there’s no word on when he’s set to make his return to the company.
