Moose is still your self-proclaimed TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

Last night, the 36-year-old put the defunct belt on the line against former X-Division Champion Suicide. The returning Impact star got the best of Moose with a series of a quick aerial offense; however, Moose caught Suicide and sent him crashing into the barricade.

Moose continued to ground and beat the crap out of the former X-Division Champion until he got too cocky by taunting Suicide, which gave the challenger an opportunity to hit Moose with a suicide dive. Suicide continued to get the best of Moose with various aerial moves until a referee bump occurred thanks to the former footballer player.

Moose took advantage of the situation, but it didn’t take the former X-Division Champion long to counter thanks to a codebreaker. In the end, Moose kicked Suicide in the balls (while the referee was still down) and connected with a spear for the victory.

Most likely, this storyline will end once Tessa Blanchard returns and fights the self-proclaimed TNA World Heavyweight Champion to prove that she's the only world champion in Impact, until then, the story of Moose proclaiming himself as the top champion has been a fun one thus far.
