Sami Callihan got a mesaure of revenge last night.

Impact Wrestling started off with the grudge match between Sami Callihan and Rob Van Dam. The match began fast and aggressive as revenge was on the mind of the former Impact World Champion. Callihan got the best of RVD in the early goings; however, Katie Forbes managed to provide a distraction that helped RVD.

RVD’s control wouldn’t last long and Callihan made a fiery comeback. The Impact star set-up for his piledriver finisher; however, Forbes provided the distraction once again, which allowed RVD to counter and connect with a devastating kick to the back of the head. RVD got a strong nearfall after nailing his signature split-legged moonsault.

Immediately, the veteran went back on top of the rope, but Callihan knocked him down and then performed a hangman’s neckbreaker that got him a strong nearfall. In the end, Callihan countered a pinning predicament by rolling up RVD and getting the three count.

However, once the match was over, Callihan tried to go after Katie Forbes but RVD ambushed him from behind. Both Forbes and RVD assaulted Callihan, leaving him lying out cold with a variation of the Van Daminator.
