Will Tessa Blanchard win the Knockouts Championship on April 27th?

The second generation star has been on a tear since making her shocking return last year at Turning Point. Blanchard reminder everyone that she was still one of the best women in the world by beating Jordynne Grace at Genesis. She’s proved it again in the past several weeks by getting a win over current TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich in a six-woman tag team match.

For a second, it seemed that Slamovich would avenge her previous loss as she was running wild on Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx. Fallon Henley caused a brief distraction as the Knockouts Champion was setting up for her finisher, which allowed Blanchard to slyly attack her from behind and nail her signature hammerlock DDT for the win.

It was officially confirmed that Tessa Blanchard will challenge Masha Slamovich for the TNA Knockouts Championship at Rebellion.

Blanchard is a former Impact Knockouts Champion. Sure first won the belt on August 12, 2018 and kept it for 147 days. Blanchard would actually go on to win the Impact World title following her Knockouts title run, but she hasn’t held a TNA/Impact belt since 2020.

Slamovich has successfully defended her belt for more than 160 days. The Russia native originally won it at Bound for Glory, beating Jordynne Grace in an incredible match. She’s had seven successful title defenses. Will April 27th be the eighth?

Also, several names have been confirmed for the upcoming Ultimate X match. Matt Cardona, Leon Slater, and El Hijo del Vikingo are all confirmed participants for the match. Like Moose, Slater, Cardona, and Vikingo have never been in an Ultimate X match. The TNA World Championship match was also officially confirmed.

Check out the updated line-up for Rebellion:

  • Ultimate X match for the X-Division Championship: Moose (c) vs. Matt Cardona vs. Leon Slater vs. El Hijo del Vikingo
  • TNA World Tag Team Championship: Matt & Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Ryan & Nic Nemeth
  • TNA Knockouts World Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Tessa Blanchard
  • TNA World Championship: Joe Hendry vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Ethan Page
