Tessa Blanchard will have her biggest challenge waiting for her at Rebellion as the Impact World Champion will take on both Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards in a triple threat match.
The whole situation occurred when a winner was not decided on the final best-of-five series match-up between Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards. The winner of the final match-up was supposed to determine the next #1 contender; however, a double finish occurred.
Elgin seemingly had the contest won with a crossface submission; however, the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion rolled Elgin over and got the three count. But, as the final count took place, Eddie Edwards also tapped.
Following the match, Blanchard stated that she had no problem defending the title against both men at Rebellion on Apr. 19 in New York. Thus far, The Three-way match for the Impact World Championship is the only bout confirmed for the upcoming pay-per-view.
