As noted, United States Champion Andrade will not defend his title at WrestleMania. Instead, he will team up with Angel Garza to challenge The Street Profits for the RAW Tag Team Championships, an out of the blue decision which doesn't make a lot of sense to a lot of fans.
Well, it turns out that there's a good reason for this.
According to Dave Meltzer during the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, the reason Andrade isn't defending the United States title against Rey Mysterio is because the Master of the 619 has been quarantined due to COVID-19. There's no word on his condition or whether he might have infected any other WWE Superstars, but WWE is clearly being safe rather than sorry.
It's also noted that Dana Brooke is also in quarantine, hence why she's not part of the Six-Pack Elimination match for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania.
Needless to say, it's probably a good job the Show of Shows is being taped this week!
