During his street fight with former tag-team partner Enzo Amore on RAW this past Monday, Big Cass landed awkwardly after taking a spill over the ropes. Though he did do his best to continue the match, it soon became clear that he'd sustained an injury once he collapsed in the ring during an Empire Elbow attempt.

Now, WWE has provided an official update, and things don't look good for the seven-footer.

According to initial medical reports, Cass will require surgery to repair what appears to be an ACL tear, and possibly a medial meniscus tear. An MRI will confirm this, but worst case scenario could see the Superstar could miss up to nine months of action.
