Betting on pro wrestling is a risky venture but one some fans make quite a bit of money from. While SummerSlam is still three weeks away, oddmakers already have some ideas for how the match between Shinsuke Nakamura and Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship could end up playing out in Brooklyn.

We're still a good couple of weeks from the smart money coming in but right now, Nakamura is favourite to win the match but not the title. The odds of him emerging victorious are -160 (meaning you need to bet $160 to win $100 on that), while Mahal is at +120 meaning if you bet that $100, you'll walk away with $120.

However, Mahal is the odds on favourite (+115) to walk out of SummerSlam as the champion, a sign perhaps that we should expect a disqualification finish. Also of interest is the fact that Baron Corbin is overwhelmingly favoured to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, something which could explain that finish.

It's all guess work for now, of course, but this is definitely pretty interesting food for thought! How do you think the WWE Championship match at SummerSlam will play out? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below.
