Logan Paul vs…Bad Bunny?
The former United States Champion seems to have his sights set on the popular singer. Though Paul hasn’t been in the ring since Summerslam, his name has popped up a lot recently. There were rumors that WWE was actually building towards Logan Paul vs. John Cena at WrestleMania. There were even rumors that the company wanted him to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at the huge event.
Either one of those matches could still happen, especially the latter since there’s been teases of Paul going after the WWE World Heavyweight title. However, in something unexpected, Paul made a challenge to Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican rapper continued to express his love for wrestling in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. In fact, it’s all but guaranteed that Bad Bunny will return to the WWE in the future.
"I want to do it one more time. I want to put my life at risk in the ring. I felt like I didn't risk it enough before, and I want to do it. I want to scare my mother."
That part of the interview was quoted on social media and Paul couldn’t resist chiming in. The 29-year-old actually challenged Bunny to get into the ring with him.
As of now, Bad Bunny hasn’t responded to his challenge. A celebrity vs. celebrity match? That could be fun! Granted, Paul is a WWE superstar, though his presence still remains in social media and boxing. Speaking of boxing, there was a point where rumors stated that WWE officials were interested in Logan Paul vs. Mike Tyson at WrestleMania. Paul has a lot of potential opponents coming up, and while there’s always going to be the possibility that he’ll get a chance to fight the Puerto Rican rapper, it may not happen anytime soon.
As far as when Logan is expected to return, there’s no official word on when he’ll step back into the ring. Though he was present for the RAW debut on Netflix, officials have yet to give him a direction heading into WrestleMania season. It’s likely that Logan will return at Royal Rumble, but that’s pure speculation on my end. Either way, it would be shocking if WrestleMania comes and Logan Paul is nowhere on the card.
