It looks like some changes really are being implemented in WWE... or at least, that appears to be the impression they're trying to give.

Back in The Attitude Era, the sight of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin giving the middle finger salute was a regular thing, but we haven't seen anyone do it in quite some time - until last night.

During a pretty great segment with Kofi Kingston and his Extreme Rules opponent, Samoa Joe asked Kofi to put his ego aside and shake his hand after first attempting goad him into a fight. Kingston put out his hand, but then grinned and gave Joe the finger before hitting Trouble in Paradise on a shocked Submission Machine.

To be fair, the back of Joe's head did obscure the gesture on the main camera, but this was still a pretty edgy move on WWE's part.
