Kane recently returned to WWE to reform Team Hell No with Daniel Bryan but before we knew it, the Big Red Machine was gone again thanks to an injury angle claiming he had a broken ankle after being attacked by The Bludgeon Brothers at the Extreme Rules PPV. However, it wasn't long after that we learned Glen Jacobs had been voted in as the mayor of his home tone of Knox County, Tenessee.

The big question is, what does this mean for Kane's WWE future? Will he be too busy to return to the wrestling ring? Thankfully, it sounds like he's not quite ready to hang up his wrestling boots yet.

"WWE is always going to be part of me and hopefully I’ll always be part of it. I haven’t ruled out making special appearances every now and then. My main priority is being mayor. [My WWE role] does bring a lot of attention to Knox County, so that’s cool. It’s just a matter of making sure everything I do — WWE or any other outside stuff — does not impact my role as mayor."

In other words, he'll make the odd appearance here and there but we probably shouldn't expect to see much from him! In all honesty, Kane hasn't been at his best for quite some time now so absence making the heart grow fonder for him will be no bad thing and could help make future returns more impactful. What do you guys think? As always, let us know your thoughts in the usual place.
