RAW Ratings Actually Increased This Week But There's Good News And Bad News For WWE

After weeks of ratings woes for WWE, things finally started improving with Monday's episode of RAW but there's good news and bad news for the company. Find out what we're talking about after the jump...

Monday night's episode of RAW saw ratings increase by 5.2% from last week's show with a total of 2.24 million viewers. That's definitely a good result for WWE but when you eliminate the fact that the NBA Finals drew 18.22 million viewers the week before, a 10% increase would have made more sense.

Unfortunately, the current numbers for RAW appear to be the new norm during the summer months and this is a decrease of 23% from last year (it should, however, be noted that the RAW from this time in 2018 was the day after Money in the Bank).

RAW's third hour drop this week was also less severe so fans were clearly intrigued by the prospect of seeing a guaranteed to be good wrestling match like Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins.

Hour one drew 2.33 million viewers, hour two drew 2.30 million viewers, and the third hour managed 2.08 million viewers. With Stomping Grounds taking place on Sunday, it will be interesting seeing whether WWE shakes things up creatively in a bid to continue increasing ratings.
