Over the past year or so, we've heard multiple reports of Adam Cole signing with WWE once his Ring of Honor contract finally came to an end. He's made it clear that he'd like to join WWE but has pointed out that he'd like to start his career with them in NXT first, something which has become customary for many wrestlers coming into the company from the independent scene.
Well, after receiving offers from everyone from Ring of Honor to New Japan, it's now being reported that Cole has indeed signed with WWE and will begin working in NXT. He'll reportedly head to the Performance Center this week and that surely increases the odds of him making some sort of appearance at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III this coming Saturday.
There have been rumblings that WWE is considering putting together some sort of stable in NXT made up of former Ring of Honor wrestlers which may very well end up consisting of names like Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, and Roderick Strong. We'll have to wait and see but there's a very good chance that we'll see Cole make his WWE debut on Saturday so we'll know more soon!
