Sami Zayn Explains His Shocking Heel Turn At The WWE HELL IN A CELL PPV

Sami Zayn shocked the world at Hell in a Cell this past Sunday when he turned heel and saved Kevin Owens from Shane McMahon's elbow drop from twenty feet above him. Here's his explanation for those actions.

Sami Zayn's heel turn was neither rumoured nor something any of us saw coming but that's exactly what happened at Hell in a Cell on Sunday. For the past couple of days, we've all been wondering what led to the former NXT Champion reuniting with his longtime enemy Kevin Owens and he offered an explanation on this week's SmackDown Live which sheds some light on that. 

As you can see in the video below, Zayn decided he had enough of being overlooked and feeling resentful that Shane McMahon didn't deliver what he promised, helping his "brother" Owens was a much wiser move in his opinion. Whether or not it is going to pay off for him is hard to say but a heel turn could be exactly what Zayn needs to stand out and find some championship success.
