Sasha Banks Expected To Be Out Of Action After House Show Injury - Will She Miss WRESTLEMANIA?

Sasha Banks Expected To Be Out Of Action After House Show Injury - Will She Miss WRESTLEMANIA?

Last weekend, it looked like Sasha Banks was injured at a WWE house show, and the company has now confirmed what happened and how long The Boss is going to be sidelined for. Find more details right here...

WWE has confirmed today that Sasha Banks is set to be sidelined with a foot injury for at least the next 6 - 8 weeks. Word of The Boss being injured first came out last weekend when it appeared she had been injured at a house show in Fayetteville, North Carolina during a match with Charlotte Flair.

Flair hit a backbreaker over her knee on Banks, and it appears the latter's foot then slipped, forcing it into an awkward position on the mat and causing this injury.

When it was clear Banks was hurt, she was taken to the back by WWE officials and there was speculation at the time it could be a serious problem that would sideline her for months. While she will now miss the Royal Rumble, chances are Banks is going to be back in time for WrestleMania (whether WWE will factor her into storylines that close to the Show of Shows is hard to say).

According to WWE, Banks received emergeny medical attention and it was then determined that nothing was broken. However, an MRI would later reveal she has a bruised calcaneus bone.

Banks will now undergo physical therapy, and we'll be sure to keep you updated as we learn more.
