We've been telling you for a while now that RAW has had mixed success in terms of ratings but things are finally looking up for WWE. This past Monday's episode averaged 3.15 million viewers, a figure which made it the #1 show on cable that night and delivered the best number since the April 17th edition of RAW which drew a slightly bigger 3.33 million viewers.
It's also a 5% increase over last week's show and the hourly breakdown was better than normal as the first hour got 3.14 million viewers, the second got 3.24 million viewers, and the third managed to stay above 3 million with 3.08 million viewers.
It's undoubtedly the promise that Kurt Angle's big secret would be revealed that helped the show, but the main event of Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe for the chance to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam probably played a role too. It's just a shame it ended in such a disappointing manner!
So, what does this mean for RAW's future? Well, we can probably expect more mystery angles as this and the story with Enzo Amore being constantly attacked has helped ratings in a noticeable way. Hopefully, the next big reveal will be a tad less ridiculous than Jason Jordan being Kurt Angle's son.
