The Reason Emma Has Been Added To NO MERCY's Fatal-4-Way Match Will Depress Fans Of The Aussie Wrestler

A few short hours after it was revealed that Sasha Banks will battle Alexa Bliss for the Women's Championship at No Mercy, Nia Jax and Emma were unexpectedly added to the match to make it a Fatal-4-Way for the title. On RAW, Emma stole the victory in a tag team bout to earn her place but why exactly was the frequently buried Australian Superstar added to the mix?

Well, it's not because WWE is planning a push for her
any time soon. Instead, Dave Meltzer says on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that she's basically there to lose.

That's because the company hopes to protect Sasha, Nia, and Alexa and while it's not clear if this means the title will change hands, it seems we can expect to see the victor pin Emma to gain the championship. This doesn't bode well for her future but it appears WWE (and more specifically Vince McMahon) lost faith in her after she failed to get on board with the Emmalina gimmick.

There's no getting around the fact she's talented, though, so
hopefully this changes at some point. What do you guys think? Let us know your thoughts on this news in the usual place.
