WWE SMACKDOWN Women's Champion Charlotte Flair Wants To See A Women's Singles Match At WRESTLEMANIA

WWE has been criticised in the past for lumping their female talent together for fatal 4-ways and the like when it comes to the big PPV events, and not focusing on their individual storylines and angles.

Well, this is something the current SmackDown LIVE women's champion most definitely does not want to see happen at 'Mania.

During an interview with Uproxx, Charlotte Flair was asked what she'd most like to see at WrestleMania 34:

"Honestly, for a women's singles match. I know that WrestleMania is a day that we try to get everyone involved because it is the biggest day of the year. It's such a family event. But I would like a women's singles match. ... Competitively, I wanna be in it, I'm not gonna lie. I would be upset if I wasn't. But at the same time, having a singles match for the women just goes to show how much WWE has invested in the women as a whole, and how important women's wrestling is to kids and families. To send that message out there that women can do anything they want in a male-dominated world."

Let's hope "The Queen" gets her wish, and maybe it'll even build to the day when we get to see two women main event on the grandest stage of them all.
