This week, WWE Superstars LA Knight and Grayson Waller have been in Australia to hype the upcoming Elimination Chamber PLE which takes place in Perth.
The duo appeared on the Sunrise morning show but, when the floor manager decided to square up to Waller, he appeared to take offence. It started when one of the show's presenters suggested he hit the guy with his signature move and it seems Waller got annoyed by being asked to deliver a "fake" punch.
The SmackDown Superstar got heated with both men - threatening to knock one of them our for real - and seemed genuinely annoyed that they were making light of what he and Knight do in the ring. So, was he legitimately feeling disrespected or was it a smart way to bring more attention to him and the show?
Either way, it's got us talking!
Last year, Waller got on the wrong side of Taylor Swift fans on social media and seems to revel in the attention and pushing people's buttons. Like Knight, he's a rising star in WWE and we can't imagine any company higher-ups will be too annoyed by his behaviour here.
In a recent interview, the heel talked about what his feuds with some of WWE's top stars have taught him during his still quite brief stint on the main roster.
"The one thing I'm realizing and it's something that I think takes time is just the way they can control the crowd. It's hard to explain, but it's just like a feeling that you have when those people get in the ring. I've been in the ring with a lot of people. When Cody gets in the ring, when John gets in the ring. There's just a vibe about them, just the way they carry themselves."
"Like people call them a superstar but even if you didn't know who they were, if they walked in a room you would know they are a superstar. You would know they're someone. So it's me trying to work out what that is, how they get it and trying to implementing that into what I do in the way I carry myself. I don't think it's something you can learn overnight, but it's something I'm gonna get."
We'd say he's doing a good job if the interview below is any indication. And, if he really was annoyed during this interview, we're sure as wrestling fans you'll understand where he was coming from.
