AEW President Tony Khan Shoots On Vince McMahon Ahead Of AEW RAMPAGE Squaring Off With "Supersized" SMACKDOWN

Next week's AEW Rampage will go head to head with SmackDown. WWE's response to that? Making their show a special "supersized" edition. You have to check out what Tony Khan had to say about those plans...

WWE may still be in the lead when it comes to overall viewership, but AEW Dynamite is beating all their shows in the key demographics on a fairly consistent basis. Now, Vince McMahon appears to be taking aim at the competition with a "Supersized" edition of SmackDown next Friday that will run for 2 and a half hours (meaning the first half hour will go against AEW Rampage).

However, WWE isn't giving up that second half-hour because the show will be followed by an immediate replay of SmackDown for those who may have tuned in late.

It's a stacked card as we're getting an appearance from Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks, King and Queen of the Ring semi-finals with Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn and Carmella vs. Zelina Vega, and Sonya Deville will make her in-ring return for a match against Naomi.

AEW Rampage, however, also promises to be a must-see because we'll see Ruby Soho vs. The Bunny, Inner Circle vs. Men of the Year and Junior Dos Santos, and CM Punk vs. Matt Sydal.

Surprisingly, AEW President Tony Khan has decided to comment on the two shows squaring off and...well, he's not backing down. In fact, he's confident that AEW Rampage will beat SmackDown!
