ALL ELITE WRESTLING: DYNAMITE Won Wednesday's Ratings War Despite Charlotte Flair Being On NXT

Both All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite and NXT saw an increase in viewers this week but it was the former that managed to win the day despite Charlotte Flair heading to developmental brand to confront Rhea Ripley.

WWE has decided to have RAW Superstar Charlotte Flair challenge NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania and that's clearly been done to boost NXT's ratings over the next few months. Well, it worked, but not quite enough to help the WWE show top All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite.

The TNT show managed to draw 928,000 viewers compared to NXT's 770,000 total viewers.

This is an increase for both shows compared to the previous week but Flair's presence clearly wasn't enough to make a difference. Velveteen Dream also returned but that wasn't advertised in advance. It seems the prospect of Cody Rhodes receiving those ten lashes from MJF was more appealing to wrestling fans than The Queen coming face to face with Ripley again.
