Yesterday, we learned that AEW star Jon Moxley has decided to voluntarily enter a rehab facility for issues related to alcohol. That left the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament a man down during last night's episode of AEW Dynamite, and Miro was brought in to face Orange Cassidy in Moxley's place.

Now, Fightful is reporting that Miro was brought in on very short notice. AEW President Tony Khan reportedly didn't make the decision to replace Moxley with him until Tuesday afternoon. The former TNT Champion wasn't originally scheduled for the show, but had to be flown in by the company and arrived shortly before the show went on the air.

Khan usually books months in advance, so this change is bound to have created chaos backstage. However, as Khan makes clear in the video below, Moxley's wellbeing is most important.

Now, Miro is set to face Bryan Danielson at AEW Full Gear with the winner going on to face the AEW World Champion. Kenny Omega is defending the title against "Hangman" Adam Page at the PPV, so Danielson or Miro will go on to face whoever walks out of the show holding the title.

Once again, we wish Moxley all the best with his ongoing recovery.
