Jake Roberts Asks Cody To Face Lance Archer "One Time" On AEW DYNAMITE

The legendary Jake "The Snake" Roberts cut another promo on Cody tonight on AEW Dynamite, asking The American Nightmare to step in the ring with his client Lance Archer just "one time." Will Cody accept?

Lance Archer recently made his AEW debut as Jake Roberts' new client, and "The Snake" is determined to secure a match with Cody for the former NJPW star.

After The American Nightmare defeated Jimmy Havoc in singles action, Roberts appeared on the screen to taunt "Caesar," aiming a few disrespectful digs at his wife Brandi Rhodes in the process. He asked Cody to sit down with him and sign the contract, insisting that Archer only needed "one shot."

Afterwards, Cody joined Tony Schiavone on commentary, and didn't seem convinced. He said he'd be happy to have Archer join the AEW roster, but he needs to work his way up.

Expect Lance and Jake to "persuade" Cody to accept the match. We reckon another attack on someone he cares about is on the cards.
