There have been rumours about former WWE Superstar Daniel Bryan making signing with AEW for weeks now. It was initially reported that the Leader of the Yes Movement would debut during the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite on September 22 in New York City as that's a big show for the company.
Well, in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it's revealed that multiple sources in AEW have confirmed that Bryan Danielson's first appearance for the company will be at All Out.
If Bryan doesn't appear, then something might have changed, but it's believed he's definitely signed with AEW (so, don't expect to see him suddenly appear in a WWE ring). As one of the main eventers of this year's WrestleMania, this would be a huge acquisition for WWE, and Bryan is someone likely to bring as many fans from his former company to All Elite Wrestling as CM Punk has.
Punk has repeatedly teased plans for Bryan to join him in AEW, so it feels like a guarantee at this point.
The last time we saw Bryan compete was on the April 30 edition of SmackDown when he was "banished" from the brand. Since then, his contract has expired, and he's now a free agent. It's no great surprise that he's chosen to sign with AEW, especially as that will give him the freedom to wrestle in Mexico and Japan (something WWE wasn't willing to compromise on in any way).
Stay tuned for updates!
