Major UPDATE On Johnny Gargano's Future Revealed - Is He Staying In WWE Or Signing With AEW?

With AEW Dynamite getting set to move to TBS from TNT, fans are expecting more big surprises over the holiday season. Now, it's looking a lot like NXT Superstar Johnny Gargano will soon be "All Elite."

Speculation has been running rampant for months about his in-ring future, and while he did recently appear to say goodbye to NXT 2.0, the prevailing theory has been that he would remain with WWE. He'll soon have a baby, and can do a lot backstage as a producer or trainer, all while avoiding having to travel around the country and be away from home.

However, Gargano's fans want to see him in AEW as part of any number of dream matches. So, is it happening? Well, Dave Meltzer certainly seems to think so.

"As more time goes on, I have this feeling that Gargano will debut in Cleveland," Meltzer said of the January 22 episode of AEW Dynamite. "I don’t know 100% that he’s going. If you watched him [on Twitch], he talked about wanting to wrestle Kenny Omega and things like that. Just things he said both publically and privately. I know he’s heavily considering going, put it that way."

"If you really think about what makes sense for him as well – the only real argument for Gargano staying is he’s got a kid coming and his wife works for WWE and if you work for NXT and he’s got a good offer [to stay in WWE] and he could make good money and he’s working one day a week and he’s driving to the building. He didn’t get to be a great wrestler taking the easy route."

We're betting Gargano does decide he'd rather be "All Elite" than part of the neon-drenched nightmare that is NXT 2.0, and it's impossible to picture Vince McMahon doing much with him on the main roster. Only time will tell, but all eyes will now be on this upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite.

Yeah - because All Excuses Wrestling have *really* used all their wrestlers well. FFS.

Get over yourself, Tiny Khan and his outfit are not better than any other promotion.

KO stayed with WWE and shocked a lot of people. Gargano might do the same.
