Bryan Danielson made his AEW debut during Sunday night's All Out PPV, but many wrestling fans were surprised when he didn't walk out to "The Final Countdown" by Europe. That was a piece of music he was closely associated with during with run on the independent scene and in Ring of Honor, but the former WWE Superstar instead has "Born For Greatness" by Elliott Taylor.

AEW and Tony Khan managed to secure Living Color's "Cult of Personality" for CM Punk, so why didn't Danielson get his old theme? Unfortunately, it sounds like it boiled down to money.

Talking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted: "The Final Countdown will not...as you can see, they played a version of Last of the Valkyrie, a remix of that. There was, in fact, an attempt to have him come out to The Final Countdown figuring the place would explode, which they did anyway, but even for Tony Khan it was cost-prohibitive."

It's likely Europe wanted a ridiculous amount of money for the song to be used on TNT each week, and while this is definitely a shame, there's really nothing wrong with Danielson's new theme.
