According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has started reaching out to a number of indie promotions in recent weeks in a bid to acquire additional tape libraries. That would mean seeing non-WWE content on the WWE Network, something we've heard rumblings about for a while now.

There's no word on which companies WWE has been in talks with but this could tie into what Vince McMahon recently said about "transformative changes" coming to the streaming platform.

In the past, we've heard about WWE looking to add content to the WWE Network for a new, premium tier. Previously, there's been talk of the TNA library being added, something which does make sense seeing as Superstars like Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, and Kurt Angle are part of WWE now.

We'll keep you guys updated.
