After entertaining fans around the world for over three decades inside the wrestling ring, Jushin “Thunder” Liger confirmed earlier this year that he is set to retire at the Tokyo Dome on January 2020. With that announcement made, it was expected of the former IWGP Jr. Heavyweight champion to wrap up his commitments to various promotions leading up to his big retirement match-up.

CMLL has confirmed that Liger’s final match will take place on July 19, as the New Japan star will be competing in a four way match against Negro Casas, Ultimo Guerrero and Caristico.

Liger has had various stints with the company since 2007. He’s previously won the CMLL Universal Championship, CMLL World Middleweight Championship, and the CMLL World Tag Team Championship.
